Makeup VI - Poison Ivy - 2012

Esta maquilhagem (e o correspondente fato de Carnaval), representa a mítica personagem do Batman interpretada pela legendária Uma Thurman.
Não está de todo igual, mas a criatividade surgiu de lá.

This makeup (and the corresponding halloween costumel), is a mythical character played by legendary Uma Thurman at Batman movie.
Not all equal, but creativity came from there.

Para dar um ar mais realístico à personagem, criei as aplicações para as sobrancelhas, bem como os adornos do próprio vestido.

As aplicações para as sobrancelhas foram construídas com folha de acetato, tendo sido recortadas pelo formato desejado, depois coloquei verniz verde sob a folha já recortada e enquanto o verniz ainda não estava seco, apliquei uma boa dose de purpurinas (utilizados vários tons de verde, como mostro na figura abaixo). Para dar um toque mais brilhante, apliquei ainda algumas pedras brancas com cola líquida.

O vestido foi preenchido com folhas verdes de plástico à medida que ia adquirindo a forma pretendida. Foram também colocadas pedras para dar brilho.

As perucas existem em muitos sítios, o maior problema é conseguir arranjar uma que não fique toda estragada e despenteada ao fim de 1 hora de uso. Como tal há algumas boas opções de escolha no site da amazon, ou então as que melhor conheço:

To give a more realistic look to the character, there were created applications for eyebrows and adornments for the dress.
Applications for eyebrows were built with acetate sheet, having been cut by the format you want, then put under the green veneer sheet cropped already and while the varnish was not dry, I applied a good dose of purplish (used various shades of green, as show in the figure below). To give a brighter touch, i applied some white stones with liquid glue.
The dress was filled with green plastic sheets as they would acquire the desired shape. I also placed stones to shine.

The wigs can be found in many sites, the biggest problem is being able to find one that does not get all spoiled and disheveled after 1 hour of use. Para ornamentar a peruca, arranjei uns pequenos adornos florais falsos (2ª imagem em baixo) para dar um ar mais realístico.

To embellish the wig, I got a small fake floral adornments (2nd picture below) to give a more realistic look.
